Puddle Jumping

I had been looking for raincoats and rain boots for the boys for a couple of months.  We have a book that the boys love that has a little boy with rain boots and a raincoat.  We had had lengthy discussions about that little boy being able to play outside, even though it was raining!  Henry and Oliver were very interested in that idea.  I must admit I was as well.  Goodness knows the days can get long when little boys aren't able to get rid of some of their energy! 

Old Navy sold these raincoats this spring.  I love them.  They are lined with the softest fleece and the coats seem durable. The boys love that they look like firemen!  I found the boots on clearance and Walmart.  They are actually barn boots!  The boys call them their "fireman boots."

It had rained earlier that morning.  The boys begged me to go out in the rain, but it was far to chilly.  We decided to go out in the afternoon and look for puddles.  There weren't many left but we managed to find some!
