Livia at Two Months

At two months old Livia Eveline can:

snuggle at night with her big brothers,

smile and coo,

laugh at her daddy, especially when he tickles her hands with his whiskers,

wear matching clothes and hats with her momma,

and completely melt your heart with her big, baby blue eyes.

We sure do love our little girl!

Our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

This is the last post of Christmas 2012, I promise!

Our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were pretty uneventful.  We spent a quiet evening and day, just the four of us, after returning home on Christmas Eve from my dear Grandpa Lloyd's funeral and Christmas with Jason's family.  After Jason and Henry's Christmas Eve services, we were exhausted but thankful to be home!

We had a wonderful Christmas and hope you did, too!

Here's to a new year.  Welcome, 2013!

Christmas Gingerbread House Fun

It is still Christmas on this blog, even though I put almost all of our decorations away today, (In one day!  A world record, I tell you!) since sickness upon sickness and a funeral kept me from doing so before the actual holiday.  So bear with me as I post a couple more times about our Christmas.

*****

One of our activities for our Advent calendar this year was to make gingerbread houses.  We always made them at home when I was young and my three sisters and I loved it.  We did them on a Saturday when we were all under the weather and have the jammies and bedheads to prove it.  Please, take note of the bedheads and enjoy them.

There's one more Christmas post coming up tomorrow and then we're moving on, folks!
