My Book: DIY Chalkboard Crafts and a Giveaway!




I am excited to finally be able to share my book DIY Chalkboard Crafts with you today!  It was such a fun book to write and photograph.  In honor of the book's release, I am hosting a giveaway!  I will choose three lucky winners at random who will receive one copy of the book.  (This contest is open to residents of the United States only.  One entry per person).  To enter, simply leave a comment below. In your comment, let me know if you have ever used chalkboard paint before and if so, how you used it.  I will email the winners of the contest after it ends.  If any winner fails to respond within 24 hours, I will choose a new winner at random.

  1. Lizette: How exciting for you. Your mom told me what was in the works awhile ago. I think I must of done something wrong when I logged my name in and tried to leave a comment. It did not work. Hope this will do.
    I used chalkboard paint at my old job. We used a piece of plywood, painted it with the chalkboard paint and put our menu on it with colored chalk. I also painted glass on a picture frame. Love the new look on the blog too. Enjoy seeing pics of your precious daughter. Merry Christmas to the 5 of you !!!

  2. I have never used chalkboard paint before. But oh boy, I have ideas and a crafting itch most days! My sister used chalkboard paint on her fridge and that is where her family keeps their schedules and motivational quotes and weekly bible verses and grocery lists. So cute to see her life displayed on tat fridge every time I visit. :)

  3. I have never used chalkboard paint, but my fiance and I just bought our first home and I have been thinking about doing a incorporating a chalkboard wall/board of some sort in our kitchen. I didn't realize there were so many uses for chalkboard paint!
